Accuracy & Availability
- We do our best to keep information, pricing, and availability accurate, but errors and changes can occur.
- Listing a piece of gear on the site does not guarantee it is available for your dates until we confirm your booking.
Rentals & Agreements
- All rentals are subject to our Rental Agreement & Coverage, including optional Black Dolphin Damage Waiver (BDDW) if selected.
- The Rental Agreement & Coverage, along with the Damage Waiver Terms, explains how we handle insurance certificates (COIs), BDDW limits and deductibles, deposits, and when additional coverage may be required for higher-value orders.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel rentals at our discretion.
Third-Party Services
- We may use third-party services (such as payment processors, booking systems, messaging providers, or email providers) to deliver parts of our service.
- Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Privacy, SMS & Location Data
- Our use of your personal information, including any SMS text messaging and GPS/location data related to rentals, is described in our Privacy Policy and our Rental Agreement & Coverage.
- If there is any conflict between this page and either of those documents on privacy or communications, the more detailed provisions in the Privacy Policy and Rental Agreement & Coverage will generally control.
SMS Text Messaging Program Terms (Service Notifications)
- Program Name: Black Dolphin Rentals Service Notifications.
- Program Description: This SMS program sends transactional text messages related to camera and equipment rentals booked on blackdolphinrentals.com. Messages may include pickup reminders, return reminders, time-sensitive rental updates, and payment reminders for confirmed rentals. This program does not send marketing or promotional content.
- Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply to each SMS message sent or received, as determined by your mobile carrier plan.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on rental activity. In a typical rental, you may receive several messages, such as pickup and return reminders and any important updates needed to keep the rental on track.

- Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of this SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send from our service notifications number. After you send STOP, we may send you a final confirmation message, and then you will no longer receive SMS messages from that number for this program. If you want to start receiving messages again, you can contact us to re-enroll.
- Help Instructions: If you need assistance with the SMS program, reply HELP to any text message we send from our service notifications number, or email la@blackdolphinrentals.com.
SMS Text Messaging Program Terms (Marketing & Perks)
- Program Name: Black Dolphin Rentals Marketing & Perks SMS.
- Program Description: This optional SMS program sends occasional marketing and perks messages to renters who explicitly opt in. Messages may include promo codes, bundle deals, repeat-renter perks, and occasional invitations to leave reviews or feedback about your rental experience.
- How to Opt In: You may opt in by selecting the optional “Get rental deals & special offers by text” checkbox during the online booking process on blackdolphinrentals.com or by otherwise providing explicit written consent where this program is described. This program is not required to rent equipment.
- Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply to each SMS message sent or received, as determined by your mobile carrier plan.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency is occasional and may vary, but we aim to keep messages limited to relevant offers and updates rather than frequent blasts.

- Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of this SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send from our marketing/perks number.
